Danny Kaspar, head basketball coach at Stephen F. Austin State University, will serve as Camp Director. Kaspar is among the most successful active Division I coaches with an overall record of 377-156 as he enters his tenth season with the Lumberjacks. In his 30 years of coaching, Kaspar has directed 82 basketball camps. In 2003 Kaspar led SFA to its first 20 win season since 1987. Prior to coming to SFA, Kaspar served as the head coach at the University of the Incarnate Word for nine seasons. While at Incarnate Word, Kaspar compiled a 219-52 record, which was the best of any four year Texas college or university during the 1991-2000 time frame.

In 2009, his Lumberjack team went 24-8 and repeated as Southland Conference regular season Champions.  They also won the Southland Conference Post-Season Tournament for the 1st time in school history and advanced to the school’s 1st ever N.C.A.A. tournament appearance.  In recognition of his team’s accomplishments, Kaspar was named Texas Division 1 Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
