Nacogdoches, TexasDanny Kaspar, head basketball coach at Stephen F. Austin State University, will serve as Camp Director. Kaspar is among the most successful active Division I coaches with a record of 353-148. In his 30 years of coaching, Kaspar has directed 82 basketball camps. Kaspar is in his ninth season as the Lumberjack head coach and has led the Lumberjacks to a 134-96 record. In 2003 Kaspar led SFA to its first 20 win season since 1987. Prior to coming to SFA, Kaspar served as the head coach at the University of the Incarnate Word for nine seasons. While at Incarnate Word, Kaspar compiled a 219-52 record, which was the best of any four year Texas college or university during the 1991-2000 time frame. In 1999 Coach Kaspar was named NAIA National Coach of the Year by Basketball Weekly Magazine.
